The biggest selling point for south Indian films is that audience continues to pack the theatres especially during weekends. Gone are the days when a film was considered a hit after it ran for 100 days at a stretch. Today a film is a hit if it takes a good opening in its first three days and released with the maximum number of prints. “Yagnam” marked the entry of successful villain of Tollywood, Gopichand as a hero. The film was in the action genre and took a good opening.
